Interior Practice | Living Room

Hello Everyone,

This is a scene I made for self-training, an image to practice real lighting conditions, materials and see how environment reacts.

The design was made by Paul Bernier and Renée d’Amours architects. My starting point was some photographs of the project taken by Mario Dubreuil.

Comments and critics are appreciated
Thanks

Nice render  But my personal idea, the sea n sky outside the room, looks a bit too bright n blear... or you make fog effect outside? Overall it's nice.

Lol Sorry i cant critique because I'm not subscribed, but ill do it here.

Amazing work, I myself cant take the time out to do such work as it requires alot of patience, and my pc sucks. Good job.

Al the shaders and materials seem to fit very well, with the exception of the red bowls. The one closest to the camera on the left is easily spotted, I think its because of the specular levels. The wood textures are amazing. The background how ever is very well placed and lit accordingly.

WELL DONE, IM GOING TO START ONE NOW, thanks for the inspiration.

I think I can spot white planes in the reflections of the windows, perhaps with vraylighmtl on them?

Reflections and refractions are very well handled.
The camera size and aperture is very fitting also, maybe a bit of depth of field could have been used? Or maybe that would kill it :P

Very well done. The lighting looks excellent here, as well as the details of the furniture and all other objects. :D

Excellent rendering... the only thing that strikes me as being "off" is the fireplace.... something doesn't look right about the flames and the light coming off of them. It just looks to "frozen". Possibly trying to simulate a longer shutter speed on the flame, and letting them blur themselves a bit would take care of this (not sure how that would work with rendering though).

20 hours rendering? what kind of settings did you use? and what is the original resolution?
